COLOR SELECTION
Adobe Color
Great for figuring out color schemes for presentations and posters, and also has a tool for extracting a color scheme directly from an image!
Color Supply
Provides tips for how to figure out what colors work for you and gives example color schemes from various artists, as well as an app to help you find your own color scheme!
I Want Hue
This website is perfect for finding colors when you're making graphs that require lots of colors. You can set the number of colors and they even have an option for colorblind friendly color selection!
SimDaltonism
SimDaltonism is a desktop app that simulates different types of colorblindness so you can make sure your figures, posters, and presentations are as visually accessible to your audience as possible!

FontPair
This is a great place to find resources on how to pick fonts and use them in you design. It is also a great tool for finding fonts that complement one another for title and body text when designing posters and presentations!
Google Fonts
Loads of free fonts available to download and resources on pairing fonts and suggestions for header and body text fonts!


DaFont
If you're looking to go down a rabbit hole of fonts, DaFont is the place to go. They have loads of different fonts, whether you're looking for something fun or more serious for the design you're putting together!

Flaticon
Flaticon has millions of free icons that you can download for use in your presentations and posters if you're looking to add some visual elements to your text!

Inkscape
Inkscape is a free vector graphics editor. It has similar features to Adobe Illustrator minus the price tag and is great for assembling and editing figures!

GIMP
GIMP is a free image editor with similar features to Adobe Photoshop for anyone trying to edit photos for figures, presentations, and posters!

CANVA
If you prefer to build presentations and posters from templates, Canva has lots of templates to pick from covering all kinds of occasions and formats!
